Hotel de Glace, Canada



 



This hotel is the only ice hotel in North America. The hotel is made of 150 thousand tons of snow and 500 tons of ice. The hotel has a ceiling height of 5 meters and carved furniture from blocks of ice. Each year, the hotel which has 36 rooms, attract 140 000 tourists.


Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel, Norway

    


This hotel is a seasonal hotel, which is built on the shores of Alta sungao and offers cool sensation typical of Norway.

The hotel has an ice chapel with seating furniture which is covered with animal skin to stay warm, and also an ice bar which serve drinks in glasses that are also made of ice and snow sled facility pulled by husky dogs with funny race. The hotel has 32 rooms and covered with reindeer skins.

Igloo Village, Switzerland





Views of the Alps and also the night sky full of stars are the things that makes this village special. Igloo village was made by the company Iglu-Dorf, who used to make an igloo for the winter event.Each Igloo can load, up to six people, and directly facing the Alps.The village is located in Engelberg, a mountain resort in central Switzerland.

This hotel is the largest ice hotel in Sweden built 20 years ago. The hotel is made from 30 thousand to snis, a mixture of snow and ice in Jukkasjarvi, Sweden, which is a village outside the town of Kiruna which has a population of 900 thousand people and dogs. Each year the hotel has 60 rooms which attracted more than 50 thousand guests to stay in the beautiful room that has an interior full of the ice.

At night, visitors can see the sights of the famous northern lights, the phenomenon of Aurora Borealis. The hotel also has a sauna and sleigh.
